Therapy is a place for you to come and express yourself freely within a safe space. It is a non-judgmental space and it allows for you to dig into past traumas and current dilemmas. Therapy provides a space for you to work through internal issues that plague your brain. Therapy is for everyone.
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burnt-out, losing interest in things that bring you joy, struggle maintaining boundaries, feel unappreciated, struggle within your personal relationships, or anything else that has you not feeling well and whole then you may want to consider therapy.
The counseling relationship is a professional process intended to help you resolve personal challenges, adapt to life changes, or explore your current life situation. Some may enter counseling to identify goals and to develop a plan to achieve these goals, overcome or learn to live with a mental illness or disability, to change a behavior, or seek support. Your therapist will employ a variety of educational and therapeutic techniques, specifically affective (feeling) behavioral (doing) and cognitive (thinking) to help you achieve your personal counseling goals. These may include out of session counseling exercises or homework. Some clients can accomplish a great deal in a short period of time. Those with complex issues or histories will require more time. Just as people are unique so is their therapy program. Healing and overcoming trauma can cause relationships to shift, as boundaries are established. Addressing previous and current trauma can be uncomfortable. However, being open, honest, and active is necessary for progress to be made. Results are not guaranteed.
In accordance with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors statues and rules clients must reside in Texas in order to receive mental health services from our therapists.

Private pay allows you to pay for services out of pocket and without the hassle of insurance caps. Private Pay also helps to protect your information as no diagnostic codes are made and records kept are not required to be turned into insurance agencies.
To reserve your initial appointment you will need to pay a $50 deposit, which will be applied to your first session balance. Future sessions will require payment at time of booking.
You will be responsible for payment of your scheduled appointment unless you cancel 24 hours in advance. If you fail to cancel or no show you will be billed a $135.00 cancellation fee. If there has been an emergency please call, and then you and your therapist will discuss it during your next session.
